Cornerstone University baseball and head baseball coach David Mitroff are pleased to announce the signing of Sean Masiakiewicz, a catcher and pitcher from St. Charles, Missouri. Masiakiewicz plays for the St. Louis Patriots and the Rawlings Prospects. He hit .397 with a .527 on-base percentage and 12 stolen bases. He is a right-handed submarine pitcher who has the ability to contribute out of the bullpen early on.

"I chose Cornerstone University because the moment I stepped on campus I immediately felt at home," Masiakiewicz said.  "Cornerstone offered the education and baseball opportunities I had been looking for. My hopes and expectations while attending Cornerstone University are to major in the Art of Ministry in hopes of becoming a youth pastor. "
